Maintenance
Super Polymer Vinyl Siding comes closer to being
totally maintenance-free that any other siding on the market today. If it
does get dirty, a heavy rain will usually do wonders in cleaning it. Or
you can wash it down with an ordinary garden hose. If neither rain nor hosing
does a satisfactory job, just follow these simple instructions:
- Get an ordinary, long-handled car washing brush. This brush
has soft bristles and the hand fastens onto the end of your garden hose.
- If the dirt is hard to remove, wipe down the siding with a solution
made of the following: 1/3 c powder detergent, 2/3 c household cleaner, 1
gal water.
- If mildew is a problem, add 1 quart bleach to the above solution.
- If you want to wash down your entire house, start at the bottom and work up to the top in order to prevent streaking.
- If stubborn stains exist,, use the following chart. Protect shrubs from direct contact with cleaning agents.
